Can I download iCUE profiles? ›

To back up your iCUE profiles and macros, you can export the profile into a . cueprofile file on your computer. You can import this profile back into iCUE whenever you want to restore your modified settings, or share the profile with your friends so they can import it into their own iCUE software.

The most common color profiles in photography are called sRGB, Adobe RGB and ProPhoto RGB. sRGB stands for standard red green blue and is the smallest of all three color spaces. It is the most commonly used color space today with the greatest consistency across the majority of platforms.

Some color profiles are purely theoretical and describe a way to turn color into numbers. These are device independent. Some profiles are made to compensate for the color signature of a device like a printer or monitor. These are known as device-dependent color spaces.

Select the Profile Switching icon in Assignment Type. In the Profile Switching section, select if you want a Single Profile or a Profile List. Select the profile(s) you want included in profile switching. If you assign multiple profiles, you can drag and drop to reorder them in the rotation list.

2) To import an iCUE profile, firstly, you'll want to navigate to the downward facing arrow ˅ on the left-hand side. The side tab will then expand and present your existing iCUE profiles. 3) Click on the backward/forward facing arrow icon. This opens a window with the import tab selected by default.

Profiles are in %AppData%\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5. By default, this is C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5.

Common color spaces based on the RGB model include sRGB, Adobe RGB, ProPhoto RGB, scRGB, and CIE RGB. CMYK uses subtractive color mixing used in the printing process, because it describes what kind of inks need to be applied so the light reflected from the substrate and through the inks produces a given color.

To assign a color profile to a device, go to the Devices tab, and select your display device in the Device drop-down. Select the Use my settings for this device checkbox. This lets you make changes to that device's color profile settings.

sRGB is also the default for digital screens. This is because digital monitors can show considerably more colors from this color space compared to AdobeRGB. Most digital monitors can deliver around 97% of colors in the sRGB color space. In contrast, only 76% of colors in the AdobeRGB color space can be shown.

Color profiles are a vital component of the color reproduction process, especially because RGB and CMYK color values assigned in Adobe graphic files hold no true color value.

Which color profile is good for eyes? ›

Switch to dark mode

If you're in a bright room, however, dark mode will strain your eyes more, so stick with a white background.

If your design will end up on digital screens like computer monitors or TVs, you should use RGB. If you need to physically print anything like product labels, brochures, or more, you should use CMYK. Using the wrong format can lead to inaccurate color representations.

To control fans within iCUE, an intelligent controller such as the iCUE LINK System Hub or a Commander Core XT is required. It is not possible to control fans that are connected to the motherboard via iCUE.

Select the device you want to configure a hardware profile for. Set your desired hardware actions and lighting effects in the HARDWARE ACTIONS and HARDWARE LIGHTING tabs on the left side menu. When you are finished, select ONBOARD PROFILES on the left side menu. Select an onboard profile slot and click Save.

The CUE program data relating to profiles and customization is stored at C:Users/(name)/App Data/Roaming/Corsair.
